Founded 45 years ago, The Children’s Center is a private nonprofit agency providing therapeutic services for families with emotionally and behaviorally troubled infants, toddlers and preschool aged children. The Center is the only agency of its kind in Utah, and annually serves 1,200 families. We operate two facilities, one located near the University of Utah Medical Center and one in Kearns.

In addition to our clinical services we provide a continuum of support services which include: parenting classes, parent-toddler groups, early childhood center staff training and consultation, and clinical training for clinicians in mental health centers throughout the state of Utah.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health care to enhance the emotional well-being of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families.
