Why partner with The Children’s Center Utah?

We remain the only organization in Utah providing trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care treatment exclusively to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
We remain committed to one of our founding principles to never turn away a family due to inability to pay. Your support makes that possible. During our last fiscal year, 94% of the children attending our Therapeutic Preschool program were from households of less than 100% of the federal poverty level
The opportunity to address mental health concerns today creates triple bottom line savings for our state:
It costs less to invest early, upstream, through promotion, prevention, and intervention
Resources are saved downstream when it is costlier to treat a crisis
Families and children contribute more to our state’s society and economy—parents and caregivers today, children in the future when they become healthy teens and adults—because they have the tools they need to thrive

What programs can my organization support?

Unrestricted funding dedicated to improving early childhood mental health outcomes for Utah will support the following:

Outpatient Clinical Services
Therapeutic Preschool Program
Early Childhood Consultation and Training (in partnership with the Office of Child Care)
Workforce Development to train specifically in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
Public Awareness and Program/Policy Development
